You want people to connect with your cause and support it? You’ll need to tell them your charity’s story – without jargon and with a focus on your achievements. That’s exactly what I can help you with. As a charity copywriter, editor and translator, I specialise in putting your work into words.
My clients include the German Red Cross and the German sections of Save the Children and Médecins sans Frontières (MSF). I also manage book projects for academics, translate copy for museums or help research institutes publish their findings in a language that people will understand and enjoy.
Before going freelance, I worked for charities in Berlin and London for more than ten years: I produced the donor magazine and other publications for PR and fundraising as editor for MSF Germany. I worked on teaching resources and campaign materials for a country-wide campaign at Oxfam Germany. I managed the rebranding and edited all publications at the London-based Refugee Women’s Association.
I love what I do and I love doing it freelance: it is a privilege to support a range of clients and causes, and I feel this diversity helps me be good at what I do. So if you’d like to discuss possible projects, do get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you.
